Vision Statement

WORSHIP: We want to be a church that passionately praises and honors the one true God, personally and as a church family. We want to gather with excitement, faithfully expecting God to be praised and our hearts to be drawn closer to Him as the Holy Spirit speaks to us through our singing and studying of God’s Word. We want to use a variety of media to lead our congregation to be personally involved in our worship services every time we meet.

PRAYER: We want to be a church that glorifies God through prayer. We want to be committed to praying daily for one another, our community, our state, our nation, and our world. We want to be a church that believes God answers prayer: that when we hit our knees, heaven opens.
BIBLE STUDY: We want to be a church that believes God’s Word can change lives. We want to be excited to share each week what we have learned in God’s Word and what He is teaching us on our journey. We want to see everyone participating in Bible Study individually and in small groups to grow and encourage one another. We want to hear from God in the message from our pastor to learn how to be more like Christ.
FELLOWSHIP: We want to be a church family that fellowships together, holding one another accountable and praying for one another. We want to love each other and everyone in our community, showing God’s love extravagantly. We want to be a church that all ages are drawn to when they see our love for each other. We want to laugh and cry together, worship and grow together, as we reach the lost for Christ.

OUTREACH: We want to be a church that reaches out to everyone in our community, state, nation, and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to be excited and happy to follow Him and have a burning desire to tell everyone we meet how they too can find and follow Jesus.

MINISTRY: We want to be a church that enables every member to discover and use their unique and God given gifts to serve and care for others inside and outside the walls of the church. We want to be a church that’s always looking for opportunities to serve others and gets excited when we hear of a need. We want to be a church that jumps into action when a need arises rejoicing over how God is going to be glorified and uplifted when we intervene on behalf of others. We want to be a church that believes that meeting the needs of others shows the love of God.
